Christmas Message from Holy Family Mission

Christmas Message from Holy Family Mission

Holy Family Mission wishes you a most Blessed Christmas.

Today we celebrate the Birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Bethlehem in Israel.

Bethlehem was the city of David and also known as the City of Bread.
We did not have a place to stay for the Holy Family so they settled into a Cave in the side of a hill.

Mary gave birth that night to Jesus and laid him in a manger.

A manger is a place for creatures to eat, or a place that holds food.

Jesus is called the Bread of Life and the first lesson he gave us is this:

Remember at the Marriage Feast of Cana, Jesus gave us his first miracle by turning water into wine.

His last Miracle was at the Last Supper where Jesus turned the Bread and Wine into His Body and Blood soul and divinity.

The very first lesson was this.

By lying the the Manger in the City of Bread, He taught us that He is literally the Bread of Live, for us to literally eat, or as the Italians say, "Manga, translated Eat Up!"

Furthermore, I believe that the most important that I can do is to increase my awareness of Jesus in the Eucharist the True Bread of Life.

I have learned that the more you love Jesus the closer He comes to you and the more He reveals His presence to you.

Consequently, the more you love Jesus in the Eucharist and spend time with the Hidden Word made Flesh the more He is alive in your life.

Fear and confusion start to disappear. You will begin to understand more and see more clearly you path.

Holy Family Mission was founded to  spread devotion to Jesus in the Eucharist, Mother Mary and the Saints.

Make an intention to spend more time with the Holy Eucharist in 2022.

The Holy Eucharist is a Living Person, the second Person of the Holy Trinity.

We are very excited about our plans for 2022 and we will unfold them starting next month.

Merry Christmas from Holy Family Mission
