Want to be happy?
Want to be at peace?
Want to get to Heaven?
Then you want to become a Saint?
Formation of the Heart Retreat
Many, many times Bob and Penny Lord would remind us that in times of crisis, Jesus would raise up Saints. Certainly we can see that our entire World is in a crisis. We need God in our lives.
The Saints discovered that it was our woundedness that destroys our peace and happiness in this world. And furthermore if we do not deal with it we transmit it to others, usually to those closest to us! Keep reading we are going to reveal how to deal with woundedness.
We need to come together and learn the Secrets of Holiness.
The Foundations of Holiness are simple and the resources are available.
Here are the Seven Foundations to become a Saint quickly:
1. Saint Louis de Monfort - To Jesus through Mary - True Devotion - Predicted the future Saints
2. Saint Therese of Lisieux - The little way
3. Saint Faustina Kowalska - Divine Mercy
4. Saint John Paul II - Encyclicals
5. Saint Teresa of Calcutta
6. Saint Ignatius of Loyola - Spiritual Exercises
7. Bob and Penny Lord - Lives of the Saints
Saint Faustina's Prayer:
"O God, one in the Holy Trinity, I want to love You as no human soul has ever loved You before; and although I am utterly miserable and small, I have, nevertheless, cast the anchor of my trust deep down into the abyss of Your mercy.
In spite of my great misery I fear nothing, but hope to sing You a hymn of glory forever. Let no soul, even the most miserable, fall prey to doubt, for, as long as one is alive, each one can become a great Saint, so great is the power of God's grace. It remains only for us to not to oppose God's action."
If you read the Last Days Prophecy of Saint Louis de Montfort, the Vision of Pope Leo XIII and the Dream of Saint John Bosco you will see that those events predicted very accurately the major events of the last 100 years.
Wars and famine sin and suffering everywhere ie) doom and gloom.
Then you see why the Priests were perplexed when Saint John Paul II was speaking about a New or Second Pentecost!
The Missing piece of the puzzle was Divine Mercy and the awesome message of Mercy for us now. We are in the time of Mercy not Justice.
That is the core message to get rid of woundedness but keep reading more good news yet to come.
Fortunately, the Lord knows we need help and he often sends someone to help us piece the puzzle together. We have good Priest that introduced us to the writings of Father Michael Gaitley MIC
Father Michael Gaitley MIC is the director of Evangelization for the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception at Stockbridge, Mass. home of the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy.
Father Gaitley puts all the above in a beautiful way and it all fits as pieces of the puzzle and the end result in awesome! He lays out the simple plan to dig into our woundedness and how to deal with it.
His writing style is so precise and he covers the next question you are about to ask about the time it comes to your mind.
He carefully explains how the Prophecy of Saint Louis de Montfort, the Dream of Saint John Bosco, the Vision of Saint Pope Leo XIII the writing of Saint Therese of Lisieux and Saint Faustina along with the writings of Saint Pope John Paul II all converge into a River of Grace and conversion of the Heart.
The end result is called the Prayer of the Heart. A simple way to bring our woundedness to Jesus and have Him heal it one piece at a time, and it works!
